PROJECT BACKGOUND
Fattoria Svetoni partner Victor Poulos needed a digital sales tool that would help him sell shares of his Tuscan winery located in Montepulciano, Italy. The growth plan for the winery included the renovation of a farmhouse on the estate into a luxury winery resort. His target was high-net-worth investors who possessed an affinity for travel and wine.
THE RESEARCH + INSPIRATION
After spending time with my client and his partners in Tuscany and at the winery, my team and I observed that the bond between this exceptional group was fused — not just by a deep respect for one another, but by a love for the relationship between wine and food, and the absence of a line between the two. This family-like bond, which transcended language and nationality, was fixed with a shared passion for culture as a part of “who you are” and an adoration for the rich, noble, medieval history they were keeping alive with their wine and the restoration of the farmhouse. Future shareholders would need to value more than just being able to tout the rare claim of Tuscan winery ownership. The right investors for Fattoria Svetoni would need to desire a more emotional and sincere belonging to the Italian way of life.
